Backup Emergency Recovery Transmitter

BERT is the backup transmitter and tracker for HABET flights. While the main transmitter on HABET flights have proven to be very reliable, certain conditions (such as a bad battery) can still cause failures.  BERT was designed to be a completely independent tracking unit.  It is housed in a completely isolated box, has it's own power source, GPS, tracker and radio.
